Computer Banc Text Reader 3.02
The Computer Banc Text Reader (built by volunteers Jim Suttie and Scott Thomson) allows a recipient to read from a collection of 610 free stories, including many classics. The program includes features such as bookmarks, a built-in dictionary, and the ability to change font size and background color.
Operating System and Office Software
Computer Banc systems use the "Microsoft Windows XP Professional" operating system. Computer Banc is the only Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher in Springfield.
We also install a full featured office suite of software called Open
Office. It is fully compatible with Microsoft Office applications and
has many of the same features. It can be downloaded free of charge from OpenOffice.org office suite

This package, compiled by Computer Banc volunteers, contains many games from a number of subject areas, allowing recipients to use their computer for educational exploration. Games include:
